Water Main Repair Work

The City of Spirit Lake will be repairing a water main break at Akron and 23rd Street on Friday morning January 7. The water main will need to be shut down to allow for repairs and the affected area will be starting at the intersection of Boston and 23rd Street then running east on 23rd Street to Francis Sites Drive and then continuing along Francis Sites Drive south to 28th Street. Water for homes along that route on both sides of the street will be off from approximately 9 a.m. to 12:00 noon. When water service is restored residents may notice some initial lack of water pressure and if discoloration is noticed, please run cold water until the water is clear again.
